Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 16 Bangladeshi nationals while entering the country through Bhomra border point in Sadar upazila on Tuesday night, after going to India illegally. The arrestees hail from different areas of Barisal and Khulna districts.
Satkhira BGB-38 Subeder Jalal Uddin said on secret information, a team of the border force conducted a drive in the area at about 8:30pm and arrested six women, two children and eight men while they were trying to enter the Bangladesh territory during their return from India without valid documents.
