Another 159 members of Bangladesh Police have been diagnosed with coronavirus across the country, taking the total number in the police for to 4,703.
Of the total infected policemen, 1,606 have made full recovery while 15 died as of Saturday, said sources at the Police Headquarters.
Members of Bangladesh Police, Armed Forces and Rapid Action Battalion along with other agencies have been jointly working to ensure social distancing across the country.
Bangladesh on Saturday recorded highest 28 deaths from coronavirus and 1,764 new cases taking the tallies to 610 and 44,608 respectively.
