Jessore police detained a total of 154 people raiding 8 upazilas under the district in last 24 hours till Thursday morning, said Anisur Rahman, superintendent of police, Jessore.
Jessore police are carrying out special drives across the district, the SP added.
Of the detained, Kotwali police arrested 41, Sharsha police 41, Jhikargachha police 26, Abhaynagar police 14, Bagharpara police 10, Benapole port station police 7, Monirampur police 8, Chaugachha police 5 and Keshabpur police 2.
