JSC exams: 15075 students absent, 23 expelled on 2nd day

A total of 15075 students were absent and 23 were expelled on the second day of the Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations.
The control room of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) of the Education Ministry informed it to the media on Monday.
A total of 26,70,333 students are taking part in the examinations under eight general education boards and Madrasa Board.
Yesterday was the English Second Papers’ examination.
In Dhaka Board, a total of 51,765 students out of 57,287 students took part in

the English Second papers examination on Monday. As many as 5,522 students were absent and the authorities expelled 19 students for their irregularities in the examination halls.
In Chattogram Board, 12011 students out of 13434 students took part in the examination under 224 centres, in Rajshahi Board, 3575 students out of 4516 students sat for the examination, in Barishal Board 2046 students took part, in Sylhet Board, 3260 students out of 4106 students took part, in Dinajpur Board, 5715 students out of 7354 students took part, in Cumilla Board, 48175 students out of 50551 students sat, in Jashore Board, 11060 students out of 11060 students took part in the examinations yesterday.
The examinations will end on November 15.
