A mobile court of Chittagong Port in a drive in the estuary of Karnaphuli river on Wednesday fined 15 vessels for plying in the river without legal documents, creating obstacles in port channels, Bay crossing permit and overloading.
Authorized officer of Chittagong port and Executive magistrates Mohammad Abul Hashem, conducted the mobile court in cooperation with port security forces and port officials at estuary of Karnaphuli river at 12 noon on Wednesday.
The court realized TK 450,000/ from the vessels, a press release of Chittagong Port said.
