Sylhet Bureau :
The swearing in of 15 newly elected Union Parishad chairmen of Bishwanath, Dakshin Surma, Gowainghat, Companiganj and Osmaninagar upazilas of Sylhet district has been completed.
Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Mujibur Rahman read out their oath onThursday.
The swearing in ceremony was attended by Mamunur Rashid, Deputy Director, Local Government Department, Sylhet and Snigdha Talukder, UNO of South Surma. The swearing-in ceremony was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner, Sylhet District. Gowainghat West AlirgaonUnion Parishad Chairman. Golam Kibria, Mohammad Nazrul Islam of East Alirgaon, Osmaninagar Umarpur Union Parishad Chairman.
