The Customs Excise and VAT Commissionerate Rangpur has honored 15 traders and businesses who paid the highest VAT on the National VAT Day in Rangpur.
Riaz Shahid Shovan, Director, Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was the chief guest at the function presided over by Commissioner Shawkat Ali Saadi in the conference room of the Customs Excise and VAT Commissionerate Divisional Office on Thursday afternoon. Speaking, Additional Commissioner Hasan Muhammad Tareq Rikabdar spoke. The key note was presented by Sajjad Hossain, Officer, Customs Excise and VAT Commissionerate.Speakers at the event said that the National Board of Revenue wants to be a direct partner in fulfilling the promise of Mujibvars by collecting more revenue by setting up EFD.
