Nilphamari police arrested 15 persons from different parts of the district in last 24 hours ending at 12.30 pm on Sunday
Of the arrestees, one is a fugitive JMB member who is accused in a charge of subversive activities committed in 2009.
He is identified as Amzad Hossain (38) , son of one Abtabuddin of Dangapara village of Jaldhaka upazila. Police also recovered some Jihadi books and JMB leaflets from his possession.
The other one is Idris Ali (55) the ameer of Chadkhana union unit of Jamaat-e-Islami party in Kishorganj upazila of the district.
He is also a fugitive accused in different cases of subversion, arson and others.
The rest were arrested on different charges like drug trading and others. All are warranted accused and police was looking for them for a long time.
