The Department of Customs Intelligence and Investigation seized 15 containers carrying art paper worth about Tk 3 crore from CCT Yard of Chittagong port on Wednesday afternoon.
Quest Accessories Bd Ltd of Uttara EPZ imported the art papers after misusing the bond system.
Deputy Director of Department of Customs Intelligence and Investigation M Zakir Hossain said no company can import art papers under bond systems.
Meanwhile, on November 28 last, the company imported the 310 cartons of paper in 15 containers from China and Royal Techno Zone, the C & F Agents of the importer submitted the bill of entry.
