International Children’s Film Festival, held annually countrywide, showcases full-length features and shorts, and experimental films made for and by children from around the world. With the motto Frame-e Frame-e Agami Swapno, the festival has launched its 14th edition this month and has opened its call for entries. The deadline for submission is November 15 according to a press release.
Founded in 2008 by the Children’s Film Society Bangladesh (CFSB), the festival is one of the biggest in Bangladesh and is the only international film festival dedicated to the children and young adults of the country. In the Social Film Competition category this year, films dealing with the theme of ‘new normal,’ in light of the pandemic-induced challenges, can be submitted by filmmakers up to 25 years old.
