A total of 147 scouts at a function received social development awards at national level for their significant contribution to the society.
Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya formally handed over the social development award on Tuesday among the recipients at Scout Bhaban in the city.
Bangladesh Scout President and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Affairs Principal Coordinator of Prime Minister Office (PMO) M Abul Kalam Azad and Chief Commissioner of Scout and Public Administration Secretary M Mozammel Haq Khan were present at the function with Social Development Affairs National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts and Disaster Management and Relief Secretary, M Shah Kamal, in the chair.
