Staff Reporter :The government has promoted 73 deputy secretaries to the rank of joint secretaries and 71 senior assistant secretaries to the position of deputy secretaries. The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday. The promotions were given when there are no vacant posts.The promoted secretaries have been assigned as officers on special duty(OSD) under Public Administration. Besides, three deputy secretaries working on lien were also promoted as joint secretaries.Earlier on Thursday, the promotion came three days into promotion of 85 joint secretaries to the rank of additional secretaries.
