Roads and Highway have become the regular death trap for the passengers. Death procession is becoming longer to longer on the streets every-day. At least 14 persons were killed and 80 others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Thursday.
In Rajshahi, at least three persons, including two women, were killed and 12 others injured after a bus overturned at Mirganj Bazar in Bagha upazila around 6:30am on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Abu Hanif, 28, helper of the bus, Manwara Begum, 42, wife of one Mansur Rahman and Badal Bewa, 65, wife of Pyar Uddin of Bagha upazila of Rajshahi,
Mohsin Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Bagha Police Station confirmed the news to the media.
The bodies were sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
In Bagerhat, three persons were killed and six others injured after a truck rammed into a human hauler on Khulna-Mongla Highway in Rampal upazila around 8:00am.
Two deceased were identified as Shohag, 35 and Sanjit Mandal, 50, residents of Mongla upazila of Bagerhat,
Rabiul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Katakhali Highway Police told the matter to the media.
In Madaripur, a driver of Mahindra was killed in a road crash when his vehicle overtuned at Cockchar area under Sibchar upazila of the district. The deceased was identified as Md. Iman,20, son late Abul Miah from Rajair upazila of the district.
Zakir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Sibchar Police Station told the matter to the media.
In Laxmipur, an auto-rickshaw driver named Dukhu Miah was killed and two others injured when a truck ran over four auto-rickshaws at a stand in Uttar Temuhoni area of the district town.

In Chuadanga, a driver of a local Korimon was killed when a truck hit him in Denghadaha Bazar of the district.

In Savar (Dhaka), a female pedestrian named Nurjahan,27, was killed at Kornopara near her factory after a bus ran her over while she was going to her workplace.

In Chapainawabganj, a day labourer named Ramjan Ali, 50, was killed when a Nochimon overturned in Shibganj upazila of the district.
In Joypurhat, a motorcyclist was died when a train rammed him on the rail crossing in district town.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Gaffar, a Lecture of Kamil Madrasa of the district.
In Chattogram, one killed in a road crash at Kodorkhil village under Boalkhali upazila of the district.
The deceased was identified as Ramita Das,37, who faced tragic incident Wednesday evening succumbed to injuries on Thursday.
