Police recovered 14 objects, which appear to be bombs, from the roof of a building at Kalampur in Dhamrai on Thursday.
Police said, Jashim Uddin, owner of the two-story building, found the objects wrapped in a polythene bag in the evening and contacted them.
Police and a firefighting unit went to the spot and recovered the objects. Seven of them appeared to be improvised bombs and others seemed to be petrol bombs, said Dipak Chandra Saha, officer-in-charge of Dhamrai Police Station. The objects have been sent to the bomb disposal unit in Dhaka.
No one was arrested in this connection.
