Police in a special drive arrested 14 activists of BNP and Jamaat from Sitakunda upazila of the district on Monday night.
Sitakunda police arrested them from different areas of the Upazila for their involvement in vandalism and arson on Dhaka-Chittagong highway.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sitakunda thana Iftekhar Hossain said most of the arrestees were wanted in a case filed for vandalism on Dhaka-Chittagong highway.
