The capitals only higher education institution for agricultural education, the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) has observed its 13th Founding Anniversary on Tuesday.
July 15, 2014 is the 13th anniversary of the institution. The institution was started its journey as a full-fledged public university on July 15, 2001 from the name of Bangladesh Agricultural Institute (BAI).
SAU is located in the heart of the capital city, Dhaka with excellent public transportation facilities to reach the university. The SAU campus stands on 86.92 acres (35.19 ha) of picturesque land covered by green plantations.
