For contesting in coming parliament election scheduled to be held bon December 23 next, a total of 138 intending candidates of Awami League received party nomination papers from party’s central office on Friday and Saturday .
On Saturday , 70 nomination papers were sold to the intending candidates of Chattogram while 68 nomination papers on first day (Friday). But it is strange that none purchased Nomination paper for Chattogram-13 constituency(Anowara) and only one NP sold for Raozan constituency.
Those procured NPs on second day include Swapan Chowdhury and Mahbubur Rahman for Mirsarai constituency, Kazi Tanjibul Alam, Aftabuddin chowdhury, Hossain Md. Abu Taiyub, Fakrul Anowar, Md. Towhidul Alam, Engr.Rajib Barua and Rajia Mostafa for Chattagram-2(Fatikchari), Jafarullah, Kamaluddin, Showkat Hossain chowdhury, Ridwanul Bari, Rajibul Ahsan for Ctg-3(Sandwip), Haider Ali chowdhury, Rabiul Alam, A bdullah al Baker, Didarul Alam, Ratendu Bhattachariya,Mohiuddin Ahmed , Md. Parvez, Md. Imran for Ctgt-4(Sitakunda), Mahmud Salahuddin chy, Younus Gani Chowdhury, Shahjahan chowdhury, Nasir Haider Karim, Ibrahim Hossain chy, Manzurul Alam, Masudul Alam for Ctg-5(Hathazari), Imranul Kabir for Ctg-6 (Raozan), Dr. Hasan Mahmud for Ctg-7(Rangunia), Nowshad Mahmud, Abdus Salam, Rezaul Karim chy, Zobaida Nargis Khan, SM Kafiluddin , Ashek Rasul Khan for Ctg-8 (Boalkhali- Changaon), Mohiuddin Bachchu, Manzoor Alam, Md. Ruling party sources said 138 aspirants f rom Chittagong so far procured NPs from Party’s central office in Dhaka on Friday and Saturday.
