Staff Reporter :Another 136 Bangladeshis include five women and four children, who were trapped in war-torn Yemen, returned home from Djibouti on Tuesday night.A special fight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Bangladeshis, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 9pm.They were evacuated from Hodeida city of Yemen, and taken to Djibouti on April 16. Bangladesh Foreign Ministry arranged their accommodation, food and other logistics during their stay in Djibouti. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam, who received the evacuees at the airport, said all of them were in safe condition. He said the total number of returnees and under Foreign Ministry’s shelter reached 508.Earlier, on April 19, a total number of 337 Bangladesh nationals arrived Dhaka from Kerala, India. Before that 26 more returned home in three groups.
