A total of 135 diarrhoea patients have been admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital during 24 hours from Friday afternoon, hospital source said.
Of the total patients, 45 were admitted on Friday while the rest 90 patients have been admitted on Saturday, said Dr. Masud Rana, Residential Medical Officer of the hospital.
He also said due to extreme heat and for taking rich food beyond limit during Eid festival, people have been attacked by the diarrhoea.
Besides, drinking contaminated water is also one of the reasons for breaking out of diarrhoea, doctor added.
