Jhenaidah Correspondent :Over 133 people including identified 73 were sued in connection with the fierce clashes between two factional groups of the ruling Awami League at Soyail village under Padmakar union of Jhenaidah Sadar upazila leaving an activist dead on the spot.Mir Akmat Hossain, an activist of the AL local unit was chopped to death by the rivals in a village clash on Friday morning when two factional groups led by AL nominated new union parishad chairmancandidate Syed Nizamul Gani Litu and incumbent UP chairman of Padmakar union Bikash Kumar.Mir Akbar Hossain, a brother of the deceased Mir Akmat Hossain filed a murder case against 133 villagers where the names of 73 identified were mentioned. Jhenaidah Sadar police Station Officer in Charge Hasan Hafizur Rahman said, after 36 hours after the murder incident a case was filed by Mir Akbar Hossain with the Sadar Police Station following the murder at Soyail village.
