In the 11 months from January to November 2021, at least 130 people were killed in 688 political violence incidents in the country. At that time 67 people died when they were in enforcement agencies custody.
Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), a legal aid and human rights organisation disclosed the information on Sunday.
It said that 8,594 people were injured in the violence.
At the same time, there were 1,247 incidents of rape, 286 attempted rapes, and 46 murders after rape and nine post-rape suicides.
At the same time, 213 women were killed by their husbands.
On the other hand, 193 journalists were tortured in 11 months of this year. The ASk report also claimed that 13 journalists had received threats from those in power.
