Police arrested 13 Jamaat-Shibir activists from different place of the district on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
They have arrested 2 from district town, 3 from Kaliganj, 5 from Harinakundo, one from Moheshpur and 2 from Shailkupa.
ASP Mohammad Hasanuzzaman of Jhenidah said, they have launched drive in different upazilas of the district and arrested 13 Jamaat-Shibir activists. They have been arrested because they can do any subversive activity due to giving a verdict of
of death sentence of war criminal Motiur Rahman Nizami.
Four platoons BGB have been deployed to avert any untoward incident.
