UNB, Jhenidah :Miscreants vandalised and looted some 13 houses belonging to BNP men at Mamunshia village in Sadar upazila on Thursday, apparently in post-poll violence.Witnesses said the miscreants attacked the houses of BNP activists Abu Taleb Member, Araj Ali, Shawkat Hossain, Shah Jamal, Pagal Chand, Abu Daud, Elias Hossain, Rintu, Shukukr Ali, Bisharat Ali, Jaman and Faruk around 8am.The attackers vandalised the houses and looted valuables, they said. Investigation officer of Gopalpur police camp Shibu Prasad said he heard about the incident. “But no one lodged any complaint in this regard.”Meanwhile, Mashiur Rahman, district BNP president and central organising secretary, blamed Awami League for the attack.He alleged that the attack was carried out led by Mashiar, Jasim Member, Naju and Sabdul.
