Police in their special drives arrested 129 people from Jhenidah and Chuadanga districts.
In Jhenidah, police in their special drive carried out from Sunday night to Tuesday morning, arrested 108 people, including three Jamaat men, from different parts of the district.
Police said they conducted the drive in six upazilas of the district and arrested 42 people from Sunday night to Monday morning and 66 more from Monday night to Tuesday morning on various charges, said ASP Azbahar Ali Sheikh.
In Chuadanga, police arrested 21 people from different areas of four upazilas from Monday night to Tuesday morning on various charges.
