Twelve teams have reached the next round of World Cup Football 2022, Asia Zone. They are- Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Syria, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.
The results of the World Cup matches, Asia Zone held on Tuesday were-Iran 1-0 Iraq, Oman 3-0 Bangladesh, Afghanistan 1-1 India, Saudi Arabia 3-1 Uzbekistan, Malaysia 1-0 Thailand, Bahrain 4-0 Hong Kong, China 3-1 Syria, Australia 1-0 Jordan, Japan 5-1 Kyrgistan, Tajikistan 4-0 Myanmar, UAE 3-2 Vietnam, and Palestine 3-0 Yemen,
The 12 teams will be divided into two groups of six , or as the AFC decides in view of the Corona thrust. If it is two groups, the champions and runners up from each group will sail into the finale of the World Cup Football 2022.
Host Qatar are the auto-qualifier.
Bangladesh played eight matches, won none, drew two and lost six.
