Twelve shops were gutted after a fire broke out at Bhandari Market in Sadar Upazila of the district early on Thursday.
A 100-year old Koroi tree was also gutted in the fire that broke out at around 4 am. On information, fire fighters from Munshiganj rushed to the spot and doused the flame after one and a half hour of frantic efforts.
