Marking the 199th birthday of Florence Nightingale, the legend of nursing services, 12 nurses of BIRDEM, NHN, BIHS and Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital has been awarded with `Mahbub-uz Zaman Award’ t at a programme organised by the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh yesterday, says a press release.
The programme was chaired by Prof A K Azad Khan, President, Diabetic Association of Bangladesh while Maj Gen (Retd) Prof A R Khan present as the Chief Guest.
The nurses received a crest, a certificate and taka ten thousands as the award. The recipients of the award are : Moyna Rani Bhaowal, Ramani Rozario, Lipika Rani Das, Koleta Sisim, Animira Odhikari, Hasi Rebeka Gomez of BIRDEM General Hospital, Mita Rani Chakroborty and Halima Akter of Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital, Afreen and Mahmuda Akter of NHN, Sabina Sultana and Nandita Chakroborty of BIHS Hospital.
The programme was organised marking the 199th birthday of Florence Nightingale, the legend of nursing services.
