A total of 12 people have died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms in the last 24 hours in Kushtia. Of the deaths, 12 people died of Covid-19 infections and the rest two died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus. 432 tested positive for the virus in the same time.
Dr Tapas Kumar Sarkar, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed the information on Tuesday (July 6).
