12 cases were field against 1500 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami for vandalising vehicles in the Sylhet division on Tuesday.
DIG of Sylhet Range Mizanur Rahman told that 12 filed the case against 1500 people, including BNP-Jamaat men, on Tuesday night on charges of vandalising vehicles on the highway during the countrywide blockade.
Some vehicles were vandalised on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in he district on Tuesday during the 20-party alliance-enforced blockade on Tuesday.
