District police recovered 12 bombs from Ashmankhali Bazar area in Alamdanga upazila of the district on Friday.
Local people said the bombs were seen by some day laborers into a drain in the area this morning while they were cleaning it.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the home-made bombs this noon.
None was arrested in this connection and the bombs were deactivated later, police sources said.
