One lakh 18 thousand 29 examinees appear in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under Chittagong Education Board (CEB) this year which begins from yesterday (February-2).
CEB officials said they have completed all preparations to hold the examination in a congenial atmosphere.As many as 26,547 students from science group, 33,578 from humanities group and 57,904 students from business administration group, totaling 118029, are scheduled to take their examinations. The students in the examinations from 1,010 high schools through 171 centers. A total of 72 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities.
Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, controller of CEB told media that the authority is determined to keep the atmosphere of peaceful examination.
