BSS, Naogaon :
A total of 1,170 houses in Niamatpur upazila have been brought under rural electrification network by Palli Bidyut Samity.
Sadhan Chandra Majumdar, local lawmaker Naogaon-1, formally inaugurated the electrification programme as the chief guest at a function on Monday afternoon.
Local Awami league leaders Mokshed Ali Sarkar president of Chandannagar union, Alhaj Enamul Haq, upazila chairman and upazila Awami league president and DGM of Palli Bidyut Samity Ranjan Kumar Ghosh also spoke on the occasion.
Naogaon Palli Bidyut Samity has implemented the programme at a cost of Taka one crore 96 lakh and 86 thousand.
