The government has taken a plan to deport 11 thousand illegal foreigners from Bangladesh soon.
“Government has identified foreigners who are staying illegally despite expiry of their visa tenure. They will be sent back soon,” A KM Mozammel Haque, Minister of Liberation War Affair said after a cabinet meeting on Law and Order in Home Ministry on Thursday.
A K M Mozammel Haque, also Chairman of the cabinet committee said, many foreigners have no money to go back home, nor their countries have embassies here.
“Many of those illegal foreigners have served jail. But the problem is that they even committed crimes inside jails,” the minister said.

Most of those foreigners are from African countries like Nigeria and Tanjania.

Home Minister said, Rohingya refugees are involved with many crimes in camps here. We have alerted our law enforcers to curb that.
Some Rohingyas have gone abroad from here using Bangladeshi fake passports.
