Ahsanul Amin George, Khulna :
Two cases were filed against 11 staff and officials including Residential Medical Officer (RMO) Dr Sufian Rustom , Dr Zakaria of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) and Superintendent Dr Anando Mohon Saha on the charge forgery recently.
The cases were filed in the courts of Khulna District & Session Judge and Khulna Metropolitan Session Judge.
In the case it is alleged that one sufferer Motahar Hossain and another woman filed the case. The court directed to investigate the cases by the authorities of Khulna Combined Divisional Anti- corruption Commission (ACC).
Deputy Director (DD) Mosharaf Hossain has been appointed as Investigation Officer (IO) of the cases.
When contacted over cell phone on Monday, Mosharaf Hossain, DD of ACC confirmed the matter of filing cases against the KMC officials and staff including the recently resigned superintendent Dr. Anando Mohon Saha, RMO Dr. Sufian Rustom and Dr. Zakaria.
The investigation officer Mosharaf Hossain, DD of ACC said, two sufferers filed cases in the
courts of Khulna District & Session Judge and Khulna Metropolitan Session Judge.
Among the two cases, number of one is Misc. case-397/2017.
After getting the assignment a letter was issued to the KMCH authorities for submitting some papers including admission registers of different wards, but the recently resigned Superintendent Dr. Anando Mohon Saha did not cooperate, rather he (Superintendent) told the IO to collect papers taking his own liabilities, DD Mosharaf alleged.
The recently resigned superintendent Dr. Anando Mohon Saha said, certificates were not issued from his office.
On the other hand, President of the Board of Certificate Issuance Dr. Sufian Rustom said, I was made president of the board and certificates are issued according to the statements and treatment of the patients, if any case is filed in the court by challenging it, then it would be proved in the court.
As I was assigned for issuing certificates, that is why I have given certificates, but the office chief couldn’t avoid his liabilities, Dr. Sufian added.
It is mentionable in this connection that the newly joined Superintendent Dr ATM Monjur Morshed has found the reality of allegations of some irregularities and corruptions which were done during the former superintendent.
