At least 11 workers of a local readymade garments factory have been injured in a road accident at Tiger Pass area that occurred on Monday morning.
The injured are identified as Aleya Begum, 27, Salma Akter, 18, Marjina, 22, Khushi Akter, 20, Sakina, 35, Shahinur Begum, 25, Hasina, 22, Sufia, 28, Rupa Akter 20, Taslima Akter, 25, and Yeasmin, 20.
They all are female workers of ‘Four H Group’ located at Agrabad area.
Nayek M Amir of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost said the workers were returning to their residences by a bus of the factory after duty.
The accident took place at around 1:00am as the bus turned turtle when it lost its control over the steering in the city’s Tiger Pass area.
