Staff Reporter :A team of Customs Intelligence seized 11 gold bars weighing about 1.2kg and 128 iphone sets at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital on Tuesday. The price of the seized gold and iphone sets would be about Tk 1.5 crore, said a customs official. Customs Intelligence Director Moinul Khan said that a special team of their department seized the gold bars and iphone sets, searching the airport area after receiving information.He said that, the gold bars and iphone sets had been brought from abroad in illegal way. There was no report of any arrest, nor the name of the airlines could be gathered.
