UNB, Laxmipur :Police in a drive arrested 11 female activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir along with some jihadi (religious uprising) books at Munshiganj in sadar upazila on Friday evening.Officer-in-Charge of Laxmipur Sadar Police Station M Abdullah Al Mamun Bhuiyan said on secret information that a group of female activists of Jamaat-Shibir were planning to carry out subversive activities in the area, a team of police conducted a drive there.During the drive, the law enforcers arrested the 11 Jamaat-Shibir activists and recovered several jihadi books.
