In its latest administrative shakeup, the government has transferred as many as 11 bureaucrats, reports UNB.
Md Mahbub Hossain, secondary and higher education division secretary, has been made the energy and mineral resources division secretary, while women and children affairs secretary Md Sayedul Islam is now the new agriculture secretary.
Anti-Corruption Commission’s (ACC) secretary Md Anwar Hossain Hawlader has been made the women and children affairs secretary, while bridges division secretary
and Bangladesh Bridges Authority executive director Abu Bakar Siddique will now take charge of the secondary and higher education division as its secretary.
Rector of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) Md Monjur Hossain has been made the secretary of bridges division and the executive director of Bangladesh Bridges Authority, while planning commission member (secretary) Ramendra Nath Biswas has been transferred to BPATC as its rector.
Md Mahbub Hossain, project director of Ashrayan, has been made the ACC secretary, while additional sectary of the energy and mineral resources division Abdul Hamid Jamaddar is now the Bangladesh Public Service Commission secretary.
Rajshahi’s divisional commissioner (additional secretary) Dr Md Humayun Kabir has been made the chairman (secretary) of the ministry of railways, while RAJUK chairman ABM Amin Ullah Noori has been made its chairman (secretary).
Meanwhile Barishal’s divisional commissioner (additional secretary) Md Saiful Hasan Badal has been made the secretary of the health education and family welfare division.
The orders were issued by the public administration ministry on Monday.
