A mobile court led by Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution(BSTI) lodged suits before the court for violating the BSTI Ordinance of 1985 and 2003 .
As a part of anti-aduleration of food campaign in Double morring thana areas in city on Thursday .
During their raid against food producers, 11 backery factories traced for violating the act of BSTI and running business without renewal of BSTI license. Field officers of BSTI Abdul Matin and Regan Baidya filed the cases as plaintiffs .
The alleged convicted bakeries are – M/s. Master Bakery & Confectionery , Majid Food products, Didar Bakery, Paragon Bakery, Chattala Bakery, Mahful Bakery, Tammana Bakery, Desh Food products, Tamanna Food Products, Beautiful Super Bakery and Ratna Food Products, BSTI sources said. The owners of these bakeries are Haripada Dey, Imam Hossain, Md. Haroon, Nurul Islam, Abdul Motaleb, Mujibur Rahman, Md.Sohel, Selim Mollah, Md. Hasan and Hasan respectively , sources added.
