Customs officials seized 100 gold bars weighing 11.7 kg from a flight of ‘Flydubai Airlines’ at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city on Monday. Assistant commissioner (customs) Farid Al Mamun of the airport said a flight of ‘Flydubai Airlines’ from Dubai landed at the airport around 10:30am. Tipped-off, a team of customs officials launched a drive in the flight around 11 am and recovered the Tk 5.30 crore gold bars kept hidden under a seat, said Farid Al Mamun.
