Marking the 10th anniversary of Max Foundation, an international organization, working for child and mother’s health, inaugurated the 3- day programme at the auditorium of Patuakhali Shilpokala Academy auditorium at 9.30 am on Monday.
The programme was inaugurated by Imam Mahumud Read, Country Director, Max Foundation. The programme was addressed amongst by founder of the Max Foundation Steven Le Poole,Joke Le Poole, Executive Director of UST Shah Md. Anwar Kamal, Executive Director of Space Azahar Ali, Executive Director of SLOPB Zunaed Hossain,Director of Aungkur Ayeub Ali Talukder,Programme Manager of ESTO Atol Mjumder,Programme Manager of Gono Unyaon Kendo Kishor Kumar Sarkar, Director of commitment Consultant Manir Alom.
The founder of the organization Steven Poole said, the objective of our Organization is mainly to serve the poor child and mother who can’t run their treatment they need. The child and mother of Bangladesh is seen to suffer from mal nutrition as well as various kind of diseases and the they are also to embrace the death at the stage.
He added more that my son Max was died of Viral Infection at the age of 8 months before 10 years. I never expect such type of death of poor child and Mother in this country,he added. So the facilitations of health for the poors will be continued from our foundation inevitably.
The programme is conducted by Ahidul Islam Kajol.
