1,000 sued over murder of 4 robbers in Faridpur

A case was filed against 1,000 villagers in connection with a lynch-mob attack that left four suspected robbers dead in Sadar upazila on Saturday.
Shah Alam, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station,
filed the case against 1,000 villagers on Saturday.
The four suspected robbers were beaten to death by a mob at Chowdhurydangi village under Charmadhabdia union in Sadar upazila early Saturday.
Assistant superintendent of Kotwali Police Station, FM Mahiuddin, said one of the deceased was identified as Khokon, son of Abdus Salam of Chatul village in Boalmari upazila of the district while the bodies of three other robbers have been kept at the morgue of Sadar Hospital.
Besides, one Momin Sheikh, a resident of Chowdhurydangi village filed another case against 10-12 people for attempting to commit robbery.
