The 2015 edition of a 100-member Bangladesh youth delegation programme will visit India from Sunday to till October 11 in an effort to strengthen people-to-people contact between the two countries.
The High Commission of India along with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India is hosting the event.
The flagging off event was organised at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre here on Saturday. Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pankaj Saran addressed the members of the delegation.
The first Mountaineer to scale Mt. Everest from Bangladesh Musa Ibrahim, singer and actor Partha Barua, well known model and actress of Bangladesh Bidya Sinha Mim, were present at the flag-off event.
