UNB, Gopalganj :
Ten schoolteachers have been relieved of exam duty for life for their negligence of duty at a centre of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in Kotalipara on Tuesday.
Secretary of Kotalipara examination centre Suresh Das said although examinees were given question papers of different sets, they filled answer sheets with the same codes and the on-duty invigilators signed those without any check.
The upazila Nirbahi Officer detected the matter when he went to visit the centre, he said.
Later, the UNO suspended the 10 teachers who were on duty. “They can’t perform examination duty in the future,” the centre secretary said.
