For the first time 10 singers of present time gave their vocals for the theme song of music based private satellite channel, Channel 16.
Popular singers Arfin Rumey, Kazi Shuvo, Belal Khan, Imran, Eleyas Hossain, Liza, Salma, Puja, Naumi and Arin jointly rendered the theme song of the channel.
Zahid Akbar has written lyrics of the song, while its tune and music were composed by Arfin Rumey. Title of the song is: Gaan-er aloy thakuk ontohin, bajuk raat-din Channel 16. It is the official theme song of Channel 16.
Before Eid-ul-Fitr, the theme song will go on air on Channel 16 regularly. Music video the song has been made. Directed by Chandan Chowdhury all the singers took part in the video.
While talking about composing music of the theme song of Channel 16 Arfin Rumey told this correspondent, “We are wishing Channel 16. Its theme song has been made to keep mind its adjustment. I think everybody will like the song.”
