Police has arrested ten robbers from Hotel Tunajjin during a drive at Laldighi area in Port city on Saturday. Police arrested the robbers on Saturday night, said a press release on Sunday. Deputy Police Commissioner (South) SM Mehedi Hasan said, two misdemeanor theft occurred in Jubilee Road and Nandankanon area in February and June.
During investigating that theft police detained the robbers. They are also involved in many theft and robbery in different places of the country. Police conducted a drive in Hotel Tuajjin on Saturday based on the intelligence information and arrested the robbers.
The arrestees are, Md Hanif (40), Md Liyakot Hossain (24), Md Akram (23), Md Toufik (26), Md Masum (26), Nayon Mallik (22), Md Milon (25), Md Kamal Hossain (28), Jamal Uddin (30) and Md Kamal Prokash (32). All of them are from different areas of Cumilla, said police.
