A total of ten physically challenged people were given wheelchairs for making them self-reliant through removing their mobility problem.
Besides, five other women-headed low-income families were given keys as they got community housing in the city. They have got the scopes of living in brick-built houses overcoming their long-lasting living life in thatched or mud-house, said a press release.
Already, they moved to their new houses, which they constructed with support from Community Housing Development Fund (CHDF) with supervision of their respective Community Development Committee (CDC) initiated by Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).
Earlier, each of the beneficiaries having land but not house were given loan worth Taka two lakh for the house building purposes.
