10 more killed in road crashes

At least 10 more persons including two doctors and an ASI of Police were killed and 40 others critically injured in separate road crashes across the country on Monday.
In Khulna, at least four persons, including two physicians, were killed in two separate road crashes.
In Phultola, three people were killed when a passenger bus hit a private car in front of Bejerdanga Union Parishad in Phultola upazila in the afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Dr Shahdat Hossain, Dr Moazzem Hossian, and Jahangir Hossian, driver of the private car.
In Dhumoriya, a motorcyclist named Jahidul Islam, 40, was killed in another road crash.
Md Monirul Islam, Officer in-Charge (OC) of Phultola Police Station said it.
In Cumilla, two persons were killed and 20 others injured in a collision between two buses at Baniapara of Daudkandi upazila around 3:00pm.
Identity of the deceased, male passengers, could not be known immediately.
Abul Kalam Azad, OC of Daudkandi highway police station, confirmed the matter to media.
In Dhaka, a youth named Swapan, 30, was killed when two buses rammed him in the middle of the vehicle at Saidabad of the city in the morning.
Bachchu Miah, Inspector of DMCH police unit confirmed the news.
In Dinajpur, a motorcyclist named Shahinur Alam,40, was killed when a truck hit him in Parbotipur upazila of the district.
Moklesur Rahman, Officer in-Charge (OC) of Parbotipur Police said In Gazipur, an easy-bike driver named Abul Bashar Sheikh, 54, was killed in a road crash at Borhora village of Kaliganj upazila of the district.
Kaliganj Police Station Officer in-Charge(OC) Md Abu Bakr Mia said.
In Sirajganj, a local leader named Topan Sarker, 66, succumbed to death in Dhaka under treatment on Monday after facing a tragedy accident on 20 February.
