A joint force in a drive from Saturday night to early Sunday arrested 35 people, including 10 activists of Jamaat-Shibir, from different areas of the district on various charges. Enamul Haque, sub-inspector of district police, said a team comprising members of police, Rapid Action Battalion and Border Guard Bangladesh conducted the drive in eight upazilas of the district and arrested the 35 people, including nine of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh and one of Islami Chhatra Shibir.
