Atleast ten persons were injured in a village clash at Teghoria village under Salkupa upazila in Jhenidah on Wednesday morning. Locals and police said, the supporters of Bachchu Mia and Jahntu Mia were locked in a fierce clash on Wednesday morning at about 9.00 AM following previous enmity in the village. Both the groups faced each other with local and sharp weapons leaving ten persons injured. The injured were rushed to Sailkupa upazila health complex and different clinics of the town.Additional police men were deployed to maintain law and order. No case was filed till Wednesday noon, officer in charge (OC) Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury of Sailkupa police station said.
